The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon

The rooms were so comfortable and well designed. Great common spaces and restaurants. View from room was amazing. Staff were great, particularly our bartender in Mott 32 (didn't get his name) and hotel employee who helped us with our luggage at checkout.

Breakfast was amazing! So many choices! Location was great right off the BTS. Room was super nice and loved the gym. Views from the hotel room were incredible!

Only downsides was the pool was quite cold and the whirlpool was as cold as the pool!

The Standard is an amazing hotel, with sleek, elegant interiors, wonderful rooms with great "urban" views, many facilities, and a central location. The wonderful staff promptly and patiently helped with every request! The famous Thai hospitality coupled with the standards of the Standard made our stay unforgettable!

A smart and efficient hotel with super friendly, welcoming staff. Breakfast is excellent, with top-quality options of both Western and Asian dishes. The vibe is warm and cozy, yet the place is impressively high-tech. Love it.

Excellent pool, very stylish design throughout.

Information card was really confusing and information about breakfast was inaccurate. Staff didn't seem willing to admit error in misinformation on hotel room card.

Everything except automatic parking system.This is my second stay. This is our anniversary and the standard did it very well. We celebrated here for a few years at Ojo restaurant and rooftop bar. This year is quite special for us so we decided to stay a night here. The bed was perfect soft. Breakfast was wonderful. Facilities were great.

Although I had a very nice experience with the accommodation and facilities, I was so upset and frustrated about the automatic parking system.It made me recall the bad memories from my first stay here in August 2022. During that visit, the automatic parking system failed one night, and I had to wait for my car for more than 40 minutes. It was a total mess back then, but I was able to forgive it since the hotel had just recently opened. I even had to postpone my anniversary dinner that night.Unfortunately, I was unlucky enough to experience this a second time. After checking out, I had to wait for more than 30 minutes. If I hadn’t told the staff that my car hadn’t arrived yet, I think it would have taken a whole day. I had a flight to catch and didn’t make it in time. I had to book a new flight at the last minute, which was very expensive.

The way the hotel looks is very cool, but also functional and comfortable. Also it was very cool that it included the entrance to the 78th floor panoramic view of Mahanakon tower

The have little flexibility with regards of security deposit even when the room was paid in advanced. They told us the deposit was mandatory even when we told them our credit card was stolen and room was fully paid, even so they made us pay the deposit in cash and in local currency which was very inconvenient for us as foreign tourists

Fun, unique, great view, and a more luxury experience! Nice breakfast and comfortable bed. Definitely hit the rooftop bar next door for the highest view in Bangkok ?

The Breakfast below the StanderThe resturant Staff untrained The waiters with Nose pierced and un hygienic for waiter and the boys at the door un professional treating us very bad and cannot speak well and cannot communicate at all with them . They should have ppl speaking English to understand .

Tge location was good

Its not designed to be welcoming. The rooms were not so clean and sometimes loud. I had a hard time sleeping coz the room isn’t really soundproof. The reception is hidden.

we had a lovely stay, the staff are all super nice and professional, room is nice with nice bathroom excellent restaurants from OJO to steak house the FB experience was top notch ! The Chef should go to their hua hin property to infuse his talent there

The pool was closed for a few days which needed renovations

Clean, modern, spacious, and delicious restaurants/bars.

The electricity in our room completely cut out and wasn’t fixable during our short stay so we had to pack everything up and move rooms. We were upgraded which was a nice gesture though.

Very stylish

It’s definitely style over substance - breakfast wasn’t very good, the staff, although pleasant weren’t great and the corridors look like something out of The Shining. After having our payment card stolen on our trip, they weren’t very understanding when we checked in and wanted to charge us again, and refund our payment card - which would take 30-45 days. Wouldn’t recommend

True luxury with attention to detail: good music and sound (super important to me), the perfect rain shower pressure, fragrance, amenities and good energy. The staff is courteous, catered to all our requests and willing to accommodate when possible! Room service menu is decent (could have some more options) but does the job! Will definitely be back soon!

I’m a smoker so would love an option of a smoking room however I understand it’s a smoke free property but they’ve got a balcony in the lobby where one can smoke (that’s where the good music is too ?)

Great location: restaurants, bars, shops around, metro/train stop just in front, not far from the river. The hotel is new, with a great design and amazing view from the room.

Personnel is friendly and nice, however the level of English for some is not on top, and there were some examples of misunderstanding.

The hotel design is beautiful; every corner is well-designed and modern. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. I really liked the hotel, and it's for sure one of the best hotels in Bangkok

Beautifully designed hotel with caring staff (shout out to Ananya, Natt, Ti and Faii!). Check in and check out were smooth, breakfast could fill you up for the good part of the day (and had vegan options) and the rooms were spacious, clean and well prepared for all the mischief.

I wish the restaurants had vegan options for lunch and dinner.

Lovely stay with friendly staff. The room and toilet were very clean. Enjoyed every part of the stay.

Loved the design of the place, the building itself was fantastic to see. The gym was well equipped.

It’s more of a suggestion than something I didn’t like but I think the swimming pool water should be a bit warmer, the one where you have the hydro massage should definitely be warm.
